Lancaster, and Mrs. Keith Miller, in the airplane Red Rose, have arrived at Bima, in the Dutch East Indies. There was disappointment at Darwin at the news of the delay. Great preparations have been made for the arrival of the Red Rose.—A. and N.Z. Captain W. N. They left Rangoon on January 3 and reached Singapore, leaving on January 9 for Batavia. On the way they crashed from a height of 160 ft, both being slightly injured. The machine was badly damaged. When it had been repaired they flew to Weltevreden, in Batavia, to rest and refit.
