£163,000 FOR STREET IMPROVEMENT By Cable.—Press Association. — Copyright. LONDON, Saturday. Underwriting is proceeding of £163,000 of 5 per cent, debentures of the City of Wellington. The issue comprises £IOO,OOO for paving and surface sealing of streets, these debentures being redeemable on March 1, 1941, and £63,000 for footpaths, the latter being redeemable on March 1, 1950. The price of issue will be 98. Interest will be payable on March 1 and September 1 of each year. A coupon for 355, due on September 1, will be attached to the scrip.—A. and N.Z.
