A CANADIAN RECORD What a Canadian paper describes as a “startling record” has been made j by Oxford’s Interested Tulby, a Jer- | sey owned by Mr. R. Thompson. Deep i Cove, B.C. She has been on semi- i official test since she freshened at two ! years of age, and has been milking ; for eight years with an average lactation period of 314 days in each year. Her production to date amounts to 70,5251 b of milk, containing 3,4801 b of butter-fat. Her best record was as a four-year-old. when she produced 9,5601 b of milk and 5351 b of butter-fat in 305 days, j In her eighth consecutive test, re- i cently completed, she produced 5,9751 b | of milk and 4181 b of butter-fat in 305 j days. She is now on her ninth R.O.P. j test, and shows no signs of slackening her heavy production. This cow is a daughter of Interested Violets Oxford, leading Canadian i R.O.P. sire, with 29 tested daughters ; and six proven sons. j
