EXCUSE FAILS
UNLICENSED LAND AGENT FINED £25 Thomas Parris, charged at the Police Court to-day with carrying on the business of land agent without a licence, was fined £25. Defendant had been licensed for several years,, and it was submitted on his behalf, that his position last year was equivalent to that of salesman. This was not accepted by the magistrate.
