LUNA PARK DELIGHTS

CARNIVAL THIS EVENING Luna Park is full of thrills and delights on ordinary nights, but when the management sets itself out to make a Carnival with a capital “C” it becomes a magic arena. This evening at 7.30 the gates will be flung open for a continuation of the fair of frivolity. The grand bathing beauty contest, which has attracted many of Auckland’s beach belles, is reaching a most interesting stage and the voting for the candidates is enthusiastic. Then there is the Sequence Treasure Hunt for the Sherlock Holmes to try their powers of detection with the promise of a golden reward. Entertainment on vaudeville lines is provided and the devices famous from one end of New Zealand to the other, such as The Whip, the “Dodg’ems,” the Merry Mix-up, the Scenic River Caves, the Haunted House and, lastly, the Scenic Railway, give everyone the safe thrill of a lifetime.
