ACCEPTANCES

SECOND DAY AT TRENTHAM CLASSY FIELDS ENGAGED ( Special to THE SUN) WELLINGTON, To-day. With the Wellington autumn meeting now in full swing, racing enthusiasts will turn their attention to the acceptances received for the second day. The first day’s form usually provides a more or less reliable guide and the favourite division should be prominent throughout the day. Excellent acceptances have been received for the various events, and the fixture promises to be one of the best the Wellington Club has ever held. The Trentham Gold Cup will be the star attraction, and it appears as if it will provide more than the usual interest. The following promise to be well supported in their engagements: High-weight Handicap.— Lancer and Bright Day. Mutt Handicap.— Duke Abbey and Le Choucas. Muritai Handicap.— Keddar and Wild Work. Trentham Gold Cup.— Rapier. Pacific Handicap.-— Mithra and Miss Ransom. Autumn Handicap.— Laughing Prince and Tresham. Suburban Handicap.— Money Order and Limited. Belmont Handicap.— Kahu Ariki and T ripaway. Acceptances for the second day are: SECOND HIGH-WEIGHT HANDICAP
