ODDFELLOWS’ OFFICES
CONFERENCE CONCLUDES The Auckland district of the Manchester Unity of Oddfellows concluded its annual conference yesterday. For the District Management Committee the following brethren were elected: W. J. Edwards, P.D.G.M.; W. McMillan, P.D.G.M.; F. A. Smith, P.D.G.M.; F. Hard, P.G.; F. M. Hetet, PG * W. G. Pitcher, P.G.; R. T. Scott, P.G.; J. W. Hotham, P.G.; and W. Dean, P.D.G.M. Nominations of district officers for 1929-30 resulted as follow: Bro. F. Best, grand master; Bros. J. A. Gray, F Hard, T. M. Hetet, S. D. Eade, .T. Mattson and W. G. Pitcher, deputy grand masters; Bro. John McLeod, district secretary; Bro. John Clark, district treasurer; Bro. F. N. Bushell, district warden, district trustee; Bro. W. Perry, P.D.G.M.; district, auditor, Bro. W. Dean. P.D.G.M. Tho following brethren were elected as deputies to represent the Auckland district at the next' biennial movable conference to be held at Hastings next month: Bros. C. H. Ambridge, F. Best, W. J. Best. W. Dean, W. J. Edwards, W. Gubb, F. Hard. W. McMillan, J. McLeod, W. J. Neels, F. C. Perry, W. G. Pitcher, F. A. Smith and A. D. Young. Tho retiring grand master (Bro. F. C. Perry) was presented with a past district grand master’s collar and jewel; also a framed emblem of the same degree. The installation of officers took place in the presence of a large gathering of members and their friends in the evening, a noteworthy conference concluding with a dance.
