ATHLETIC LEAGUERS
CLUB’S SOUND POSITION An enthusiastic meeting of the Grafton Athletic League Football Club was held on Tuesday, Mr. P. French presiding over a good attendance. The report and balance sheet showed the club to be in a sound position. Messrs. J. A. Lee. M.P.. and W. Hammill addressed the meeting with reference to the benefit to R. Stack, and urged the members to do their best to help make it a success. The election of officers resulted as follows: Patron, Mr. W. J. Webb; vicepatron, Mr. W. Pratt; president, Mr. P. French; delegate to A.R.L., Mr. A. Brown; delegate to Mr. A. Hopkinson; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr. T. Ratcliff e; assistant secretary,. Mr. H. Catterall; club captain, Mr. T. Avery; committee, Messrs. H. Avery, ,T. McGregor, H. Neil, H. Timmins, It. Nelson, H. Christmas and F. Bryer.
