OLYMPIC REPRESENTATION ALLEGATION AGAINST CENTRE Complaints of lack of enthusiasm toward New Zealand representation at the Olympic Games is alleged against the Auckland Amateur Athletic Centre, which has not sent delegates to the Auckland branch of the Olympic Association since the annual meeting. The secretary of the association was instructed last evening to call the attention of the N.Z.A.A.A. to this seeming lack of enthusiasm. The New Zealand Council, Wellington, wrote requesting all outstanding donations to be forwarded by next Wednesday, so that the original bookings could be confirmed on the Remuera, which was due to leave on April 28. It was pointed out, as far as Auckland was concerned, it would be impossible to forward its amount by Wednesday, as there were still 1,500 subscription lists to come to hand. The Manukau Amateur Athletic and Cycling Club was granted affiliation. Mr. H. Butcher was elected a member of the district council.
