FRUIT EXHIBITION

DISPLAY AT V/INTER SHOW One of the attractions at the Winter Show, to be held from July 11 to 23, will be a representative provincial fruit display. In April last, fruitgrowers were invited, through the local associations, to provide the fruit for a display at the show, and each association was asked to contribute at least ten cases of fruit. The matter has now been revived and a circular letter, with suggestions for the guidance of the associations in making up their displays, has been sent out to all district secretaries. Mr. W. H. Rice and other orchard instructor# will be invited to assist in the selection and staging of exhibits for which the Provincial Association will provide cool storage and free space. At the conclusion of the show the .contributed fruit will be sold and the net proceeds divided among the associations.
