S.P.W.C. MEETS When the committee of the Society for the Protection of Women and Children met on Monday afternoon it was reported that 39 new cases had been dealt with. Of this number, 16 had been sent to solicitors, 22 concerned husbands and wives and seven were to do with children. There had been 190 office interviews, and the inspector had attended to 46 cases, involving 204 interviews and visits, and had spent four mornings in Court. Mrs. M. Parsons was appointed inspector to the society, her duties to commence on April 23.
