According to a message from Santos, 72 bodies, including those of 23 children, have been recovered from the Monte Serrat avalanche, which buried 200 people. Two thousand volunteers are working removing an enormous quantity of dirt and rocks. Minor landslides are continuing to cause anxiety.— A. nnd N.Z.
