Included in these are six groups, the Peninsular and Orient , Royal Mail, Eller - man’s, Cunard, Holts, and the Furness lines, pylth a total capital of £113,000,000 and owning 8,116,000 tons of ships, which is per cent, of the Empire's tonnage. This exceeds the entire merchant fleet of any nation with the exception of the United States. — Sun.
