LUCKY ESCAPE
BELT BUCKLE BREAKS CHARGE OF SHOT ACCIDENT AT BLENHEIM Press Association. BLENHEIM, Monday. Vivian Brooks, 17$ years of age, son of V. Brooks, postmaster at Blenheim, was wounded in the abdomen while out shooting yesterday. A belt buckle fortunately dissipated the charge, rbut the wound is a serious one. The injured youth is making a good recovery in hospital.
