Two People Killed and 34 Injured
LORRY OVERTURNS ACCIDENT IN N.S.W. By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 11.30 a.m. SYDNEY, To-day. Two were killed and 34 injured, some seriously, when a lorry got out of control descending the Bulli Pass on the east coast of New South Wales, about 30 miles south of Sydney. The driver, realising that he was unable to take a sharp turn ahead, turned the lorry up an embankment. The dead are:. John Thomas and Gertrude Fern, both of Redfern, Sydney.—A. and N.Z. HEAD-ON COLLISION TWO KILLED, FOUR HURT Received 11.30 a.m. MELBOURNE, To-day. A head-on collision between a taxicab and a 'motor-car' in the city resulted in. the death's of John Fraser Firth, and Wallace Hyde, both of St. Kilda. Fqur. others, were injured. Two of these are in a serious condition.—A. and N.Z.
