CLICK-CLACK CABARET
REOPENING CARNIVAL There was a large attendance on Saturday evening, when the Click Clack Cabaret re-opened for the 1928 season. The decorations of the dance-room itself were artistically carried out with lamp shades and streamers of harmonising shades. Downstairs in the lounge scheme of decoration was continued ® the same manner, the rich tapestried furnishing making a pleasing contrast w ith the light green and gold of the streamers. George Shorland and his Sylvians *ere in excellent form, and maintained * hi gh standard of playing throughout tn© evening, two particularly good e uorts on their part being “Yesterday, •Hid ‘'The Blues.” addition to the Saturday night carnival, the cabaret will be open on Tuesday and Thursday. A dansant w dl be held on Saturday afternoon. ; the assignment of Cesare Grav*°a tc- play the role of Gigi, the eccenne “page boy” of a Parisian theatre, east o! "The Divine Woman” is ompketed.
