POWER BOARD SOCIAL CLUB

There was a large attendance at the Auckland Electric-Power Board Social Club’s smoke concert, held in the club’s social hall on Saturday evening. Mr. Tom Bloodworth presided, and several other members of the board were present. Mention was made that it was the last entertainment to be organised by the 1927-28 social committee, as the election of officers for 1928-29 was to be held shortly. The existing committee was congratulated on the success of the functions it had organised during the past. year. An excellent musical and elocutionary entertainment was given during the evening.
