Mr. R- F- Ward, Under-Secretary of justice, is visiting Auckland. Mr. J- T. Munro, of M&rsden Point, is upending a few days in Auckland. Mr. Justice Reed left for the South bj- the Limited last evening. Archdeacon Williams was a passenprr from the South by the Limited this morning. Mr. W. Goodfellow, rnanaging-direc-tcr of the New Zealand Co-operative Dairy Company, arrived in Auckland this morning by the Limited. Captain Foster returned from the South by the Limited this morning. Mr. H. R. Mackenzie, chairman of the Auckland Harbour Board, left for the South last evening by the Limited. Mr. L. B. Hart was a passenger from Wellington by the Limited this morning. Mr. E. Casey, divisional superintendent, North Island Railways, has returned to Auckland from Rotorua. The Mayor, Mr. G. Baildon, left last night for Nelson to attend th€> annual municipal conference. The Town Clerk, Mr. J. S. Brigham, and Cr. J. Dempsey will leave this evening. Major-Gen. J. A. Douglas, of England, * native of Dunedin, is on a holiday visit to the Dominion and is at the r T?**ind Hotel. He has toured throughout New Zealand, arriving yesterday from a visit to Rotorua.
