COTTAGE WRECKED

RESULT OF EXPLOSION CHRISTCHURCH MYSTERY Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, To-day. As a result of a tremendous explosion at the rear of an unoccupied cottage in Moorhouse Avenue, the back portion of a building was completely wrecked at 10.30 yesterday evening. Several windows in the wool store of Messrs. Pyne, Gould, Guinness and Co., Ltd., alongside were destroyed. The cause is a mystery, although it is believed that some kind of a charge was set off by a fuse.
