A BALL GAME
I wonder if you have ever played this ball game. You’ll just enjoy it if you haven’t. You must play it up against a big wall —either the wall of a house or perhaps the wall of a school, but make sure that there are no windows in the wall that you could break. The players—-all but one—stand in a line about ten yards away from tne wall. The odd player takes his position, with ball in hand, about halfway between the wall and the tine of players. Now he throws the ball up against the wall so that it bounces behind him. One of the row of playercatches it, but the one who threw it must not look behind to see who it waInstead, all the players stand in a row with their hands behind their backs, and the odd player has to turn round and guess who has ih If he guess - rightly, then the player who caught the ball takes his place.
