S.W.T., Waiuku.—Your pullets are low in condition, and we would advi=e you to reduce your pollard by onehalf and add the same amount of ground oats. "Unless pullets are in good condition when they commence laying, it is impossible for them to keep going through the winter. Ground oats, too, are one of the finest foods it is possible to give to birds in the breeding-pen. It goes a long way to_ ensure strong, healthy chicks. Yes. 'Tama” is a disinfectant as well as a destroyer of vermin.
