Mr. Alexander Mar key is On Location at Rotorua
Mr. Alexander Mar key , the director from Universal City , and his party of mbvie experts , are now “on location ” at Rotorua. It is Mr. Markey's intention to go as far South as the Cold Lakes in Otago before his picture is completed.
Edmund Eurns, freelance actor, has been assigned the male lead in “Phyllis of the Follies,” to be directed by Ernest Laemmle. * * * F. Schumann-Heink, son of the famous contralto, Madame ScliumannHeink, plays the part of a Viennese officer in “Night Life.” * * * Ray Hal lor will play a crook role in •The Clash,” an underworld story featuring Antonio Moreno, Claire Windsor, Eddie Gribbon and Sally Rand. • * * Lew Cody and Aileen Pringle’s last Metro - Goldwyn - Mayer co - starring vehicle, which was filmed under the working title of “Mixed Marriages,” is to be released under the title of “Wickedness Preferred.” * * * With “Feel My Pulse” out of the way, Bebe Daniels is hard at work on Hold Everything.” That is the title first selected, but Paramount plans to change it before release. James Hall will bd leading man.
