NEW FOX THEATRE

ATTRACTS PRESIDENT COOLIDGE The new Fox Washington Theatre, has already achieved a distinction beyond all others in the United States. Recently President and Mrs. Coolidge, just to spend an enjoyable evening and entirely in an unofficial capacity, went to the Fox Theatre, remaining throughout the entire performance. Mr Coolidge has only been to motion pictures twice, and both these occasions were at the Fox Washington Theatre. Ills first picture attendance was at the gala performance at which he was the guest of honour surrounded by the members of his Cabinet and the entire Diplomatic Corps stationed in the city of Washington. The Fox Washington Theatre has, in the short space of a month,, become the gathering place of the elite of the American capitol. This magnificent theatre, built by William Fox, of the famous Fox Film Corporation, is presided over by that archshowman, “Roxy” Rothafel, whose name is further commemorated at the newest and largest theatre in the world, the Roxy, New York.
