Flappers in England celebrated their franchise victory in the Queen’s Hall to-night by a monster meeting, of delegates from 147 principal women's societies. The Prime Minister, Mr. Stanley Baldwin, who was the chief speaker, called on all women to realise that their new freedom only means a new duty, for freedom without obligation merely means licence and anarchy.—A. and N.Z.
