SATURDAY’S RACING The Manukau Cruising Club will sail races for yachts and launches over the following special courses: Yachts.—Start between jetty and main wharf, then round soldier buoy off White Bluff, thence round north boat moored off White Bluff, thence round mark boat moored off jetty; twice round; finish between main wharf and jetty. Entries and handicaps are as follow: — Anahena, Sylvia. Valdora, Aoma, Myra, all scratch; Waiapu. 2m; Champagne. 2.1 m; Hetty, 4m: Maidie, 44m; Sea Horse, 64m; Mystery, Tim; Sea Gnome, 9m. Flying start at 2.30 p.m. Launches.—Start between main wharf and jetty, thence round north boat oft Nicholson’s Point (Mangere), thence round fifth red buoy, thence round black buoy off Mangere beacon; twice round: finish between main wharf and jetty. All marks are to be kept on the starboard hand. Entries and handicaps are as follow: Dione, scr; Naughty Girl. 2m: Pal-’o-Mine, 2Jm; Sea Wolf. Sim; Rainbow, Tim: Mermaid, A.H.8., 14m; Kapui, 144 m; Miharo. Regal. 15m; Hinemoa. lfifn; Millie, 17m; Karoro, Alniora, 18s; Wanderer, 21m: Pastime, 21m; Breniorne, 25m; Salome, 27m; M.C., Lynx, 29m; Tawera. 30m; Success. 32m; Grace, 355. Boats will start off handicaps, the limit boat getting away at 2.45 p.m. Model yacht races are also to be sailed ! during the afternoon.
