BANKS ACTIVE SHIPPING SCRIP SOUGHT Banks have registered increased activity over the past day or so on ’Change. New South Wales have improved to see business at £47 10s. New Zealands are firm at 595. In the insurance section South British have been done on a market firm at 58s 3d and New Zealands at 40s 9d. Coals continue in good tone. Renowns command attention on a market around 13s, sales being reported at that figure. Most shares in the shipping section are sought at late quotations. In breweries.
