Ice-Skating Champion Gets 50-year Old Scarf
The trophy , if it can be called sitch 3 which is awarded to the winner of the British professional ice-skating championship , is surely unique in the world of sport. It is just a scarf —fifty years old—which the new champion is entitled to wear . Attached to the scarf is a small silver plate, on which is inscribed the name of the champion.
After five years’ retirement from the links. Sir Harry Lauder is taking: up golf again. He must have found a L lost golf ball!
