PONSONBY SOCCER CLUB
SUCCESSFUL YEAR’S RECORD The annual meeting of the Ponsonby Association Football Club was held last night. Mr. J. F. W. Dickson presided over a good attendance of members and supporters. The club’s record last season wa3 exceptionally good, and although it made a bad start it finished up tn a winning position in nearly all grades. The senior team won the Chatham Cup, the second grade A team the Daere Cup. and the third grade A team the championship and knock-out competition, in its grade. The following officers were elected: Joint patrons, Messrs. G. McMillan and L. Marks; president, Mr. J. F. W. Dickson; vice-presidents, Messrs. Harding, Hunt, Williams, Adams, Keesing, Halt Morrison, Ball, Meltzer, G. Anderson, M. Anderson, J. Roberts, W. Bell, E. & Roberts. W. Benson, J. Ward and Robertson; hon. secretary, Mr. L Downes; management committee, Messrs. Anderson, Skelton, R. Innes, G. Wright J. Morrison, jun., E. V. Roberts, Robertshaw; delegates to A.F.A, Messrs* Anderson, Skelton, E. V. Roberts; selection committee, Messrs. N. Anderson, V. Roberts and L Downes; second grade selector, Mr A.
