Pratten, leaves for New Zealand by the Niagara to-day. TLXE will discuss with the New Zealand Government a reciprocal trade treaty between Australia and the Dominion. Before leaving, Mr. Pratten saiu that although the position was a deli ate one owing to the recent alterations in tariff made by both New Zealand and the Commonwealth, he hoped before returning to Australia, be able, by mutual goodwi o arrange the trade position between the two countr'-s upon a basis more satisfactory to each, —A. and N.Z.
