CHRISTIAN ENDEAVOUR

UNION MONTHLY MEETING In anticipation of a visit in Juno from Dr. Poole, president of the ish Christian Endeavour Union, the council of the Auckland Union decided last evening to arrange a banquet in .his honour. The usual Easter Sunday meeting at Mount Eden was discussed at length, as were the- arrangements for the annual picnic, which will be held at Henderson Valley on Saturday March 10. The council sent greetings to two new societies, which Mr. G. Densem reported having opened at Kohu Kohu and Broadwood. The secretary was requested to write a letter of sympathy to the president of the union, the Rev. A S Wilson, in view of his recent motor accident.
