MANAWATU RADIO CLUB
NEW STATION OPENED GOOD TESTS REPORTED Press Association. PALMERSTON N„ Wednesday. The Mayor, Mr. A. J. Graham, officially opened this evening the Manawatu Radio Club's new broadcasting station, 2ZF, of which the wavelength is 280 metres. Mr. W'. A. Waters, the club president, said the aim of the’designer in making the new transmitter was to secure clear speech and music, rather than volume. Nevertheless, reports were to hand of the station having been heard during the test transmissions all over New Zealand.
