DAHLIA SHOW

POSTPONEMENT MADE EFFECT OF DROUGHT The dry weather having made the plants backward, the Auckland Horticultural Society has decided to postpone the Dahlia Show until March 22 and 23. A novel competition has also been arranged. Visitors to the show will be given a voting card on which they will place in order the 12 blooms appealing to them most. The person placing the blooms nearest to the order of voting will receive plants of the 12 winning varieties. The society is hopeful of having a fine display of blooms at the show.
