COMPETITION RESULTS

The prize of seven shillings and sixpence (7s 6d) for the last drawing competition has been awarded to Harvest Moon, for her delightful impression of “The Wigwam.” A “Sun Worshipper,” cleverly depicted by Blue Morning, and Red Dawn’s “Oasis by Moonlight,” came a close second. The results are as follow: First: Harvest Moon (Alma Chamberlain, Rata Street, Riccarton, Christchurch, aged 17). Highly commended: Blue Morning (M arie Kissel, Kelburn, Wellington) and Red Dawn (Neila McLeod, Auckland), equal; Drifting Smoke (Connie Norris, Mount Albert), Brave Hunter (Joseph H. Dobbyn, Grey Lynn); Sentinel Pine (Harry Keesing, Ellerslie).
