WARNING IGNORED
MOTOR-CYCLISTS ARRESTED FINED FOR INTOXICATION Given one chance yesterday by a policeman, Neville Thomas Usher, aged 26, and Anthony John Edwin Christensen, aged 23, failed to take the hint. THEY were both charged at the “*■ Police Court to-day with being intoxicated while in charge of a motorcycle. The constable said that he saw Christensen riding the motor-cycle in Syrnonds Street, and Usher was pillion riding. The machine took an erratic course, and witness pursued the accused. On catching them, he said that if they left the machine parked, and went home, they would hear nothing more of the affair. As soon as his back was turned Usher mounted the cycle, and went down hill on a free engine. Christensen attempted to get on the cycle too. Christensen was fined £5 and his licence was endorsed.
