PORT SYDNEY HOME—The Commonwealth and Dominion Line steamer Port Sydney is reported by cable advice to have arrived at London on Sunday last from New Zealand. She was dispatched finally from Lyttelton on January 21.

SURREY ARRIVES AT LONDON.— With a full cargo of New Zealand produce, the Federal Steam Navigation Company’s steamer Surrey is reported to have arrived at London on Sunday last. The vessel was dispatched finally from "Wellington on January 25.

CITY OF WINCHESTER HOME.—According to cable advice received locally thw Shaw, Savill and Albion Company’s chartered steamer City of Winchester is reported to have arrived at London last Sunday from New Zealand ports. The vessel was dispatched finally from Port Chalmers on January 18.

DEVON DISCHARGING—At present discharging her cargo of basic slag from Antwerp at Central Wharf, the Federal steamer, Devon, is expected to complete in a week’s time. She is scheduled to sail from Auckland on March 16 for Nelson and other Southern ports to load CANADIAN CHALLENGER DELAYED.—Owing to the rain the departure of the Canadian Government’s Line steamer Canadian Challenger for New York, Halifax and Boston has been postponed until Thursday. WORK HAMPERED BY RAIN.—No work was done on the waterfront this morning owing to the continuous downpour of rain and consequently the departure of several vessels has been postponed. GALLIC LEAVES COLON. —The Shaw, Savill and Albion Company lias been notified by cablegram that the White Star steamer Gallic left Colon last Thursday evening for New York. Halifax ami West Coast of Great Britain, en route from Auckland. The vessel sailed from Auckland on February 9. lONIC LEAVES HOME.—Cabled news has been received by the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company that the lonic, after loading at London, left Southampton on Friday afternoon, with passengers and cargo for Auckland and Wellington. The vessel is due at Auckland on April 9. SOUTHERN CROSS TO BERTH.—To refit for her coming cruise to the mission stations in the New Hebrides and Solomon Islands, the Melanesian Mission steamer Southern Cross is to berth at Prince's Wharf to-morrow. She is scheduled to sail from Auckland on May 1. TONGARIRO LEAVES LIVERPOOL.— With general merchandise from \N est Coast ports of the United Kingdom, the New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Tongariro was dispatched from Liverpool on Saturday for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton and Dunedin. She is due at Auckland on April 9. REMUERA AT COLON.—The New Zealand Shipping Company's liner Remuera is reported to have reached Coion on Saturday, en route from London and Southampton. The vessel has passengers, mail and cargo for Xew Zealand. The cargo will be unloaded at Auckland. Wellington and Xapier. She is due at Auckland on March 24. LAMB STEAMER OMANA —The Lamb steamer Omana, after unloading coal and poles at Tauranga, is expected to return to Auckland this afternoon to load timber for Australia. She will berth at Central Wharf. From Auckland the vessel will go to Opua and Kaipara to complete. KING EDWIN DUE TO-MORROW. — Due at Auckland to-morrow, Wednesday, according to her radio report received over the week-end, the King Line's new motor-ship, King Edwin, has been allotted a berth at Western Wharf. The vessel, which has a full cargo of case oil from Port Arthur, Texas, is to complete discharge at Napier, Wellington and New Plymouth. HINEMOA DUE FRlDAY.—According to cable advice received by the local agents. Spedding, Limited, the New Zealand Government steamer, Hinemoa, sailed from Norfolk Island yesterday afternoon for Auckland after being delayed there by rain. The vessel is now due at Auckland on Friday morning next, and efforts are being made to dispatch her again the same evening with passengers, mails and cargo for Niue Island. ANGLO-COLUMBI AN’S ITINERARY. Mr. W. G. Bews has received advice that the itinerary of the G. H. Scales Company’s chartered steamer Anglo-Colum-bian has been changed and the vessel will not load at Auckland as was intended. The vessel was to have sailed from Wellington last evening for Wanganui. thence to Napier and Port Chalmers. She is to be dispatched finally from the last-named port about March 24 for Dunkirk and Antwerp. QUERCUS REPORTS AGAIN. —A further radio message received by Robert Millar and Company this morning states that the tramp steamer Quercus is now due off Tiri at 9 o’clock this evening from Java. The vessel will anchor in the stream this evening and will berth early to-morrow morning at Chelsea to discharge her cargo of raw sugar. From here the Qtiercus proceeds to Westport for bunkers, thence Nauru Island, to load either for New Zealand or Australia. CARGO FROM HOME. —The latest j itinerary of the Shaw, Savill and Albion Line states that the following steamers will bring general merchandise from ! England to Auckland: —The Kia Ora, sailed Liverpool February IS, due March i 27; lonic, left Southampton March 2, due . April 9; Tamaroa, to leave Southampton March 30, due May 12; Matakana, to | leave Liverpool March 31; due May 9; j Tainui, to leave Southampton April 27, due June 4; Mataroa, to leave Southampton May 25, due June 30; Corinthic, to leave Southampton June 22, due August 3. NOBEL’S SAILING VESSELS. —Mr. E. C. Campbell has received advice that the Nobel auxiliary schooner Huia was due at Grafton from Melbourne yesterday to load a full cargo of Australian hardwood for discharge at Whangarei and Auckland. . The auxiliarv schooner Pin was to leave Greymouth yesterday with a cargo of timber for Melbourne. After discharge the vessel will load explosives for Greymouth, Westport and Auckland. The auxiliary ketch Miro is to leave Auckland to-morrow with explosives for Gisborne and Napier.

TRANSPACIFIC CARGO STEAMERS —The Waikawa, from Pacific Coast, via Papeete, was to clear Napier yesterday for New Plvmouth, Nelson, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Bluff, Westport and Auckland. She is due at New Plymou-th to-morrow. The Wairuna, from Newcastle, via Suva, is due at Vancouver on March 17, and will proceed thence to San Francisco. „ _ . The Hauraki from Pacific coast, via Auckland and Wellington, was due at Sydnev yesterday. She will proceed thence* on Thursday to Melbourne and Adelaide, to complete discharge. The Waiotapu, from Newcastle, is due at Suva to-morrow, and will proceed thence to Fanning Island, Vancouver, San Francisco and Los Angeles. The Waihemo, from British Columbia, ports, was due at San Francisco yesterday to complete loading for Auckland, Wellington. New Plymouth, Melbourne, and Sydney.
