REGENT OFFERS STAGE TURN The management of the New Regent is searching, in Auckland for a “double” to Bebe Daniels. There must be girls in the Queen City with that dashingvivacity and dark fascinating beauty of Miss Daniels, and the girl who most resembles her is offered a week’s engagement at the New Regent, commencing Friday, in an elaborate stage rologue to precede the screening of 3he’s a Sheik,” Bebe’s latest comedy jmanpe. Applicants are invited to attend at le New Regent to-morrow (Wednesday), at 12.30 (with photos if possible). Selection will be made in the foyer on the first floor. “Dynamite,” one of the most famous police dogs in screen work, is being starred in “Wolf’s Trail,” a Universal Western. A highly entertaining combination of dog story in a typical Western photo-play plot, it is one of the best films ever turned out under the direction of Francis Ford, director of many big Western pictures. In the supporting cast are Edmund Cobb, Dixie Lamont Edwin Terry, Joe Bennett, and others. Basil Dickey wrote the story and scenario.
