EDENDALE

TWO BIG FEATURES Marie Prevost’s comedy production, “Almost a Lady,” which comes to the Edendale Theatre to-night, provides Miss Prevost, the star, with a splendid opportunity for pathos and the colourful roles in which she is at her best. Her supporting cast includes Harrison Ford, George K. Arthur, Barn e y Gilmore, Trixie Friganza and John Miljan. “Almost a Lady” has as its central themes the tribulations of a poor modiste’s model and the social inclinations of a new-ly-rich Irish couple. Marie Prevost, as the model, is asked by the Irish climber to impersonate a celebrated authoress who failed to appear at her first reception. Harrison Ford is mistaken for a duke. Complications, full of humour and drama, mark the denouement. “Barbed Wire,” starring Pola Negri, will be the second feature on the programme to-night.
