THAMES NEXT

THE next trotting fixture of A interest to Auckland provincial owners is that of the popular and progressive Thames Club, which comes up for decision on Saturday, March 24. The programme, which has previously been reviewed at length in THE SUN, is an attractive one and cannot fail to appeal to owners and trainers, while the public will also show its appreciation by a record attendance on the eventful day. The chief handicap carries besides a stake of £350 a beautiful gold cup valued at 100 guineas, the gift of that wellknown supporter and enthusiast, Mrs. Bert Collins. Nominations for all events close at 5 o’clock to-morrow evening with the secretary, E. O. Brownlee, or Mr. R. L. Absolum, secretary. Otahuhu Club.
