Native newspapers endorse the report of Cabinet’s unanimous decision that the draft treaty with Britain is not acceptable. It is stated that Cabinet at its meeting this morning will draw up a statement explaining the rejection. According to a message from Paris, newspaper comment on the Anglo - Egyptian Treaty is generally neutral. “Gaulois” says: “Egypt, which Is faithful to French culture, has all our sympathies, but that friendship cannot make us lose sight of the close solidarity of the interests of France and Britain.
