ATTEMPT NEXT WEEK 310 M.P.H. ANTICIPATED British Wireless —Press Assn. —Copyright Reed. 12.45 p.m. RUGBY, Thurs. The attempt to establish a new air speed record with a supermarine Napier S 5 seaplane will probably be made by Flight-Lieutenant Kinkead at the end of next week. The machine is now being assembled at Calshot, Southampton, and will afterwards undergo testing. It is anticipated that a speed of over 310 miles an hour will be attained. — A. and N.Z.
