MANUREWA PRESBYTERIANS

A very enjoyable social evening: was held in the Manurewa Church Hall on Wednesday evening to celebrate the opening of the new building. The Rev. T. H. Roseveare, of Papatoetoe, presided. Songs were contributed by Miss Clarice, Mrs. Butterworth and the Rev. T. H. Roseveare; flute solo by Mr. Stockbridge; musical monologues, Misses Clarice and Roseveare. Short addresses were delivered by the Revs. F. Dobson (Anglican), and J. W. Griffiths (Methodist), Mi. Crombie and Mr. A. C. A. Sexton, chairman of the Manurewa Town Board. During the -evening a special appeal was made for donations toward the building fund A dainty supper was supplied.
