EMPIRE
BIG PROGRAMME TO-NIGHT In “Hills of Kentucky,” which comes to the Empire Theatre to-night, Rin-Tin-Tin returns to the locale of “Below the Line,” his success of last season. The story and setting are quite different, however. This time he moes among the rugged and primitive country folk of the Kentucky Hills. In the early sequences he is seen as a puppy. Rin-Tin-Tin, Jnr., plays the part. It is a lean year and the hungry dogs, driven from their homes, band together in a pack, which ravages the farms. By the time the country regains its prosperity the pack is | under the leader- ' ship of the puppy, ; now grown. Thel story is that of a little crippled child who wins the love and confidence of this formidable beast. 1 “Singed," starring Blanche Sweet, ! will be the second feature on the programme to-night.
