WELLINGTON MOTORIST FINED LICENCE CANCELLED Press Association. WELLINGTON, Thursday. “This man is not fit to drive a car,” said Mr. J. H. Salmon, S.M., when fining George Gillie, of Petone, £25, and prohibiting him from driving until March 31, 1930, on a charge of driving his motor-car in a dangerous manner A constable stated that two children had been struck by the car and injured slightly. Witness considered Gillie was drunk at the time of the accident, but sobered up before reaching the station. The defendant said that he had had only on© drink.
