GOVERNMENT BONDS
NEW ISSUE TO BE RAISED PROSPECTUS AVAILABLE The New Zealand Government notifies a bond issue of £400,000, to be raised under the authority of the Rural Advances Act, 1925. These bonds will be open for public subscription, and will bear interest at the rate of five per cent, per annum, their currency being until September 15, 1947. The issue price is ££'4 10s a £IOO. Investment in the bonds will give an interest yield of £ 5 5s lOd per cent., or £ 5 9s Id per cent, if redemption is included.
It is necessary that early application be made as the issue is subject to allotment if oversubscribed.
