QUEEN’S CONCERN CONFERENCE IN LONDON By Cable. —Press Association. — Copyright. Reed. 9 5 a.m. LONDON, Wed. The Queen, in a message to the Maternity Mortality Conference says that she views with grave concern the continued high rate of maternal morality and feels that a real endeavour Should be made to remove this reproach from national lite. She considers that it is time for concerted action to meet the pressing evih and will await with interest the preference's conclusions. The conference adopted a resolution advocating an inquiry into every aeath at cMld-bfrth, and the better framing of medical students in this subject. A. and N.Z.
