POWER BOARD EMPLOYEE

Mr. W. Goodman, who recently severed his connection with the Auckland Power Board, where he had been employed for the past six years, was yesterday presented by the staff with a case of pipes and a silver cigarette case. The presentation was made by Mr. N. M. Speer, secretary of the board, who referred briefly to the esteem in which Mr. Goodman was held by his fellow-employees. Mr. Goodwin made a suitable response.
