GREYMOUTH JUBILEE
RECORD CROWDS CARNIVAL CONTINUES Press Association. GREYMOUTH, Tuesday. The celebration of Jubilee Day attracted a record crowd. The programme included an official luncheon at the Town Hall, which was attended by over 250 pioneers and vistors. Addresses were delivered by the Prime Minister, Mr. Coates, the Leader of the Opposition, Mr. H. E. Holland, the Mavor Mr. J. W. Greenslade, Messrs. T E Y. Seddon and W. Glenn. M.P.'s, Mr. H. Card, Mayor of Featherston, Mr. Alfred Russell, of TVaipukurau, Messrs. Hosie and J. Kerr, of Petone, Mr. Jesse Steer, chairman of the Grey Harbour Board, and Commander de Salis, of H.M.S. Veronica. , .. After the firing of the jubilee blast at Cobden Quarry, a large procession passed through the town to \ ictoria Park. There were many striking tableaux and other displays. One of the largest crowds even seen there gathered at the park, where short addresses bv the Mayor and the Prime Minister were followed by a massed display of school children and poi dancing by a party of over 50 Maoris from Canterb To-night there were swimming and sports carnivals,
