RAILWAY NOTICES X ZEAL AX’D MARCH 3, 1928 \ HOLIDAY EXCURSION TICKETS, available for return up to and including March 5, 1928, will be issued to CLAUDELANDS from Auckland, Glen Afton, Te Kuiti and intermediate stations, and to HAMILTON from Paeroa, Cambridge and intermediate stations on March 3 by trains due to arrive Hamilton or Claudelands not later than 1.10 p.m. These tickets will NOT be available by the Thames and Rotorua Express trains from Auckland, or by the Main Trunk Express trains between Auckland j and Frankton. TRAIN ARRANGEMENTS. On SATURDAY, March 3, a Special Train leaves Newmarket for Claudelands at 6.5 S a.m., Otahuhu 7.20, Papakura 7.48, Pukekolie 8.16, Mercer 8.56, Huntly 9.40, Ngaruawahia 9.59, Frankton 10.30, arriving Claudelands 10.40 a.m. This train will, if required stop only at ltemuera, Green Lane, Ellersiie, Penrose, otaliuhu, Papatoetoe, Manurewa, Papakura, Drury, ! Paerata, Pukekohe, Tuakau, Pokeno, Mercer, Te Kauwhata, Rangiriri, Ohinewai, Huntly, Taupiri, Ngaruawahia, Horotiu, and Frankton for passengers. (h) That the total liability in respect of claims arising out of any one accident or disaster other than railway accidents which results in the death within thirty days of more than one person shall not exceed the sum of one thousand pounds (£1,000). In the event of such happening the said sum of one thousand pounds shall be paid pro rata. (i) That no compensation shall *be payable for any accident happening while the subscriber is carrying another person or riding upon a luggage or pillion-carrier of a cycle or motorbicycle. (j) That no compensation shall be payable for any accident sustained while the subscriber is in a state of intoxication of resulting from suicide or attempt thereat, an overdose of drugs. Insanity, war, riot, or civil commotion. (k) That in the event of any dispute between the subscriber and THE SUN as to whether such disablement render the holder temporarily or totally unable to follow his or her usual vocation, it is agreed that such dispute shall be referred to the decision of a medical referee to be nominated by THE SUN, whose decision shall be binding upon the parties. (l) That the wife or husband of a Home Delivery Subscriber ordinarily residing with him or her shall be deemed to be a Home Delivery Subscriber for all the purposes of the coupon. (m) THE SUN reserves the right to | amend or terminate this offer at fourteen days’ notice, such notice to be published in THE SUN. (n) Conditions previously published are hereby cancelled, and the foregoing conditions shall apply until such time as they are altered or withdrawn under paragraph m. February 1, 1928.
