INDEPENDENT WATER SUPPLY The Manurewa School Committee is >to be highly commended in the steps taken to ensure a plentiful supply of pure water for consumption by "the scholars. The installation of an electric pump has .iust been completed, costing approximately £SO, and 400 gallons of fresh water are pumped into the tanks each morning from the private school bore, and the tanks are allowed to drain each evening. The water has been tested by the Health Department, and pronounced O.K.
