AUCKLAND POULTRY SHOW
DATES FOR NEXT FIXTURE The report and balance-sheet of the Auckland Poultry. Pigeon and Canary Club presented at the annual meeting this week showed a loss on the year’s activities. This was ascribed by the chairman, not to failing interest in the club, but to the hiring of pens, which was a most expensive item. As a matter of fact, the attendances at the club’s last show were greatly increased. July 5 and 6 were fixed as the dates for the next annual show. The election of officers resulted as follows:—Patron, Mr. G. R. Hutchinson (re-elected); president, Mr. G. H. Ambler (re-elected); hon. secretary, Mr - W. A. Moore; assistant secretarv M_r. T. Sparkes; hon. auditor, Mr. S. A. Wood; show superintendent, Mr. T. Sparkes.
